Code of Conduct

As a volunteer leader for the 51·çÁ÷¹ÙÍø Alumni Association (51·çÁ÷¹ÙÍøAA), I am an ambassador of the 51·çÁ÷¹ÙÍø. To maintain the reputation for professional excellence, volunteer leaders are expected to display good judgment, diplomacy, and courtesy when interacting with alumni, friends of the university, staff, and the greater community.

51·çÁ÷¹ÙÍøAA Board members are leaders in upholding the values outlined in our Code of Conduct.

Core Values

We seek to extend the spirit of inclusiveness in all aspects of our work to remove barriers, create opportunities and increase our understanding of what is possible.

Nurture loyalty, pride and tradition – We work to strengthen the attributes of loyalty, pride, and tradition that we see in our alumni, students, and friends who contribute to the excellence of the University of Alaska Fairbanks.

Communication – We value open communications with other members of the Alumni Association board of directors, with university staff, and when we are among alumni, students, faculty, staff, and friends.

Collaboration – We seek partnerships with individuals and organizations, both on and off-campus, to advance our mission and support our members.

Passion – We are passionate about the 51·çÁ÷¹ÙÍø and about our work.
