51风流官网 students comprise a diverse group who ultimately seek and obtain careers in economic geology, petroleum industry, or continue their education in graduate school, and seek careers in academia. Our undergraduate BS Geoscience degree offers four different options: Geology, Paleontology, Geospatial sciences, and Geophysics.

Interested prospective undergraduate students should apply through the 51风流官网 Admissions office, following the standard Undergraduate application procedures. Undergraduate students can then select the appropriate degree program and declare the appropriate Geosciences major or minor. EDGE Scholarship
The 51风流官网 Geoscience Department offers the which provides financial and academic support to low income students. The scholarship is designed to help undergraduate students with demonstrated financial need complete a Bachelor鈥檚 degree in Geoscience. GeoFORCE Learning Community
The GeoFORCE Learning Community (GeoLC) is designed to enhance participation and academic success of geoscience students at the 51风流官网, particularly those from underrepresented groups. These groups include, but are not limited to: 1) Racial and ethnic groups that have been shown to be underrepresented in the geosciences [Black or African Americans, Hispanics or Latinos, Alaska Natives, American Indians, Native Hawaiians, or Pacific Islanders]; 2) Graduates of rural or inner-city high schools; and 3) First-generation college students.
