Bristol Bay 4-H provides services to youth in the Bristol Bay region. Bristol Bay is the size of the state of Ohio, with 32 communities. The population of this region is approximately 7,500 individuals, primarily Alaska Native. With the exception of a few villages that are connected by a road, communities are isolated and can only be accessed by airplane, or seasonally by snowmachine or boat.
Bristol Bay 4-H works with community members, Tribal and family service organizations, and schools to provide educational, engaging projects and services to youth and community members, with a focus on Indigenous culture and relevance.
