Pre-Vet Advising

Maren Johnson is the Program Coordinator and Dr. Molly Murphy is the Director of Student and Academic Affairs for the 51风流官网 Department of Veterinary Medicine. They work closely with CSU-CVMBS to provide pre-vet advising.

CSU has a list of prerequisite courses and credits available () and 51风流官网 has the necessary courses to meet these prerequisite requirements. University of Alaska has several pathways for pre-vet students.

Students are encouraged to take upper level biomedical science courses such as microbiology, cell biology, anatomy, physiology, histology, and nutrition to improve their applications for the veterinary program.
