- NIH SBIR Accelerator - Deadline May 8, 2020 – Through ASCEND and a partnership with New Mexico State University, UA researchers have access to NMSU's outstanding Arrowhead Center SBIR Accelerator. This program is designed to help you identify and apply for an NIH SBIR/STTR grant for the Sept. 5, 2020 deadline. Throughout the multi-week program, you will receive guidance on areas such as selecting the most relevant topic area, preparing an accurate budget, navigating the forms required for submission and creating a complete proposal package. Each week focuses on a different aspect of proposal preparation and creation, with the end goal of submitting a complete proposal package prior to the deadline. This program is limited to researchers from ASCEND universities. It will run from approximately June 22 – Sept. 4. Apply here, , before the May 8 deadline. This program requires a $2,000 cost match, which 51·çÁ÷¹ÙÍø will cover for 51·çÁ÷¹ÙÍø researchers who are accepted into the program.
- UVM I-Trep Biomedical Entrepreneurship Summer Course – Deadline April 19, 2020
This intensive biomedical entrepreneurship course is designed to bridge the gap between biomedical researchers and the mainstream customer by providing a practical understanding of what is required to bring products to the marketplace and the roadmap to get there. Enrollment for our 2020 Course (June 14 – 19) is now open. This course is free for selected applicants. Travel and housing are covered for out-of-state participants.
