Emergency alert test scheduled Thursday

The 51风流官网 will test its emergency notification system on Thursday, Jan. 30. Between 1 and 2 p.m., employees and students at all 51风流官网 locations, including community campuses and rural sites, will receive one or more test messages. Visitors may also see or hear test messages. All test messages will note that they are part of the emergency notification test.
The test messages will come in a variety of ways:
- Calls or voice mail messages to on-campus telephones
- Calls and text messages to mobile or home phones
- Announcements on loudspeakers
- Messages on yellow Alertus emergency beacons
- Computer screen pop-ups
- Emails
- Social media
