Alaska Ocean Acidification Mooring Network
Project Description
The current Ocean Acidification (OA) monitoring network was installed through support from the Alaska State Legislature, federal agencies, private industry, and nongovernmental organizations. This network established an OA instrumentation pool and infrastructure assets that were integral to establishing and tracking current biogeochemical conditions around Alaska's coasts. Current support continues to come from a consortium of funding agencies and is critical for continuing OA research in Alaska.
