June 03, 2024
The 2024 ACEP Summer Internship Program begins today with 17 interns selected from a large number of applicants. They join ACEP from around the state of Alaska as well as seven other states.
The ACEP summer internship is a 10-week program for undergraduate students to gain hands-on research experience and skill development in the energy industry. Participants receive one-on-one mentorship from ACEP researchers. The two program strands are ACEP Undergraduate Summer Internship and National Science Foundation Research Experiences for Undergraduates.
This year’s interns will work on a variety of topics, ranging from marine energy and decarbonization to cybersecurity and storytelling.
We will have updates on the exciting research interns will be engaged in as the internship progresses, so stay tuned!
