The cohort of 11 individuals from Canada, Alaska, and Greenland visited successful high-penetration renewable systems in Alaska, Canada, and Iceland. ARENA is an experiential knowledge-sharing program that brings energy champions from remote circumpolar communities together to learn from one another and tour innovative energy systems deployed in the high North.
ARENA is led in partnership with Canada, Gwich’in Council International, the U.S., and Iceland, and endorsed by the Sustainable Development Working Group of the Arctic Council.
